About

Molecular bacteriologist and LGBTQ+ advocate specializing in Vibrio genetics and phage-host interactions. Currently a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Karen Maxwell at the University of Toronto. My research focuses on understanding anti-phage defense mechanisms and developing phage therapy approaches for antimicrobial resistance. I am committed to enhancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in STEM fields and founded the Pride in Microbiology Network.
